Greg Bear and Karl Alexander at Dark Delicacies

Double trouble!

Bill and I found ourselves yet again back in Burbank at Dark Del for a duo signing of Greg Bear’s Mariposa, follow up to his 2005 novel Quantico and Karl Alexander’s Jaclyn the Ripper, the sequel to Time After Time (like 20 years later – wow!).

Bill bought books from Del while Sue had the authors sign some stock. Bill and fellow book hunter Jeramie (the J half of J&N) hung out between the horror packed black bookshelves before the signing kicked off.

Karl and Greg were awesome. We ended up hanging for quite a while, and I bought more black knee socks (WAY cool with red roses & white skulls). I like this shot of Del talking with the authors after things quieted down. You know, Del is an actor AND an author… scroll down to the very bottom of their home page and check it out.

Before heading back to West Los Angeles, we made our usual stop at the famous Iliad Bookshop only a couple miles away (and spent a little time brushing the resident evil cat Zola). Naturally, the hunter (uh, that would be Bill) acquired a few treasures to take home with us. Next stop… see us at our booth at LosCon 36 this coming weekend… November 27-29 at the LAX Marriot. Join us!

Until LosCon!
(And a very blessed Thanksgiving to youze and yours!)
