32nd Annual Los Angeles Vintage Paperback Collectors Show

2011 Paperback Show

These one day sci-fi pulp paperback shows are not only super fun for shopping and hanging out, but we get so many books signed! I’ve been to a few of these now and I’m always amazed at the number of authors and illustrators who come, and not all of them are local. 78 tables Baby! We weren’t able to see everyone, but the website listed:

Dopp, Dennis Etchison, Fred Evans, Laura Freas, Bill George, David Gerrold, Mel Gilden, James C. Every time we’ve seen Peter Beagle (The Last Unicorn) the past couple years, his main editor Connor Cochran is right by his side. Bill asked Connor “Freff” to sign his many copies of the D’Arc Tangents.
